Swansea Univeristy Back <<

Swansea is a traditional university, founded by Royal Charter in 1920.
It is the third largest university in Wales in terms of number of students, and its campus is located next to the coast just outside Swansea city centre.

The University stands in parkland overlooking Swansea Bay on the edge of the Gower Peninsula, Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
London is 192 miles away, under three hours by train, and Cardiff, the capital of Wales, is less than an hour away.

Most academic departments will ask for an IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent) for postgraduate degrees. But there are exceptions and applicants should always check with the individual departments, or check the conditions included in their offer letter.

Applicants with English Language Proficiency Scores below IELTS 6.0 below the required level

In the case of applicants whose test scores fall below the required level, the University recommends English Language tuition in ELTS before the beginning degree-level studies.
